Whoopie!

Mom is letting me go to China whenever I want provided I stay with her friend who has a villa in China. She won't be going there cos - well let's just say she likes clean and green places.

Anyway, lucky me. Save on accommodation, food and transport. That friend of her is one rich tai tai! Husband work in an oil-rig firm with high position so salary is grossly about SGD12,000 per month! But she live a modest life only that she travels to China as though going to market - quoted by my mother.

I have been reading forums on Asia country - Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Taiwan, Seoul, Tokyo. After reading all these, it pique my interest to travel to these region! I am going to start saving for these trips man! Unless I marry a rich husband or get a really high paying job, my trips to these country shall remain budget. Well, only the accommodation and food. Shopping wise, let's just say it could chalk up 1 month of my dad's pay!

But all these shall and remain only as a wish until I reach a legal age of 21 whereby I can travel to these country on my own or with a friend. For places like Bangkok and Malaysia, hopefully by the time I reach 18 or 20. Well, at least with this time wait, I can save more money!

Going to Australia alone, I have changed about SGD1000 ....
Bali - remains unknown but mos likely SGD500 ....

Alot of money man.
If got excess, I will convert them to Singapore dollars and save them for my trip to China.
Planning to spend SGD800 there.

If I ever step into Bangkok again - my shopping expenses might jolly well burst to SGD1000 on shopping alone. Yes - Bangkok is a dangerous place for pocket burn ....

It almost leaves me with ashes...
